Good article, and I have to agree. I would also add that part of their motivation lies in Facebook becoming an essential piece of our everyday lives, thus making it harder for us to ever leave. Would you ever delete your email and/or physical address book? Delete all your phone numbers and contacts? Facebook wants to be on par with those systems for maintaining the connections in your life, and they’re well on their way.
